SUMMARY REGARDING ZHENGZHOU UNIVERSITY SCHOLARSHIP
The primary objective of this scholarship is to provide financial support to international graduate students, particularly those pursuing doctoral degrees, at Zhengzhou University. The duration of the scholarship ranges from 3 to 4 years, aligning with the length of full-time master's and doctoral programs. Details regarding the coverage of the scholarship are outlined below.

ELIGIBLE CRITERIAS FOR ROMANIA SCHOLARSHIP
1. Citizenship: Applicants must hold citizenship outside of China. Additionally, they must be in good physical health and possess a clean criminal record.
2. Legal Compliance: Prospective students are required to adhere strictly to the legal statutes and regulations of the People’s Republic of China, as well as the specific regulations set forth by Zhengzhou University.
3. Academic Standards: It is imperative that candidates exhibit a commendable learning attitude and maintain a consistently strong academic performance.
4. Degree and Age Requirements:
a) Master's Programs: Candidates applying for master's programs are expected to have obtained a bachelor's degree or a higher academic qualification, or its international equivalent. Moreover, they should be below the age of 35 at the time of application.
b) Doctoral Programs: Applicants pursuing doctoral studies should possess a master's degree or its equivalent, with the exception of Pakistani applicants, who should have completed a master's degree of 18 years. Additionally, they should be under the age of 45 at the time of application.
5.Requirements for language proficiency of applicants:
a)Candidates applying for doctoral and master programs delivered in Chinese must attain a minimum score of 210 or higher in HSK Level 5 in the New HSK Examination.
b)Candidates applying for doctoral and master programs taught in English, hailing from non-English speaking countries, must achieve a score of 6.5 or higher (or equivalent) in the IELTS examination.
c)Candidates seeking admission to doctoral and master programs instructed in English must submit documentation attesting to their English proficiency, such as certificates from English language courses and examinations, in lieu of IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Note: Recipients of various scholarships including the Chinese Government Scholarship, Confucius Institute Scholarships, scholarships from foreign authorities or enterprises, local Chinese government scholarships, Chinese enterprise scholarships, or any other scholarships, are ineligible to apply for this particular scholarship.
HOW TO APPLY
To apply for admission, candidates are required to complete the Application Form and provide the following supporting documentation:
1.Submission of original or notarized copies of their highest academic degree. Additionally, if applicants are currently students or employed, they must include study or employment certificates issued by their respective institutions. Documents not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by certified translations in either Chinese or English.
2.For master's program applicants, original or notarized copies of bachelor's degree transcripts are necessary, while doctoral program applicants must provide transcripts from both bachelor's and master's studies. Again, documents not in Chinese or English must be translated and notarized accordingly.
3.Master's program applicants should include an 800-word study plan, while doctoral program applicants must submit a 2000-word research proposal, all written in either Chinese or English.
4.Two letters of recommendation from associate professors or professors are required for master's and doctoral program applicants, respectively. These letters should be written in either Chinese or English.
5.Applicants pursuing programs in the arts must adhere to additional documentation requirements as stipulated by ZZU.
6.Official language proficiency test results in either Chinese or English must be submitted.
7.Original or notarized copies of the Foreigner Physical Examination Form and blood test reports, completed in either Chinese or English, are mandatory but can be provided even later.
8.Applicants must provide original or notarized copies of certificates indicating a clean criminal record. Again, documents not in Chinese or English must be accompanied by certified translations in either Chinese or English.
